Ortho-K Eye Drops

Natural Ophthalmics drops are specifically for Ortho-K and contact lens use, there are no comparable drops sold in stores.

The Thick Ortho-K Drop is generally used just before going to bed. It can be reinstilled in the middle of the night if needed.

Use the Thin Ortho-K Drops generally first thing upon opening your eyes to moisturize and loosen up the lens for removal, then as often as necessary throughout the day. In fact, you should let your symptoms be your guide. Since these drops stimulate your body’s own ability to eliminate symptoms, you should use them as soon as you notice the symptoms returning.

There are two Ortho-K eye drop formulas. The homeopathic active ingredients are the same. The Thick Drop formula is in a thick lubricating base to reduce mechanical friction between the eye lid and the lens. The Thin Eye Drop formula is in a very clarifying and soothing base.

Most other eye drops for contact lenses are “Re-wetting Drops” or lubricant artificial replacement tears. Our drops do not attempt to replace tears, but work therapeutically to stimulate your eyes to counteract symptoms.
